This quick and easy dessert dip captures the nostalgic flavor of Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes in a creamy, scoopable form. Perfect for holiday gatherings, it comes together in under 10 minutes with simple ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 4 Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes (3 for mixing, 1 for garnish)
  • Red and green sprinkles
  • For serving: graham crackers, vanilla wafers, or pretzel sticks
  • Fresh fruit (optional)

Instructions

  1. Soften cream cheese and butter by letting them sit at room temperature for 30-40 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and butter on medium speed for about 2 minutes until smooth and fluffy. Scrape down sides halfway through.
  3. Gradually add powdered sugar on low speed, 1/4 cup at a time, to avoid a sugar cloud. Once all sugar is in, beat on medium for 1 minute until light and creamy.
  4. Mix in vanilla extract and milk on low until just combined. The mixture should be smooth and slightly looser; add another teaspoon of milk if too thick.
  5. Chop 3 of the Christmas tree cakes into small 1/4-inch chunks. Reserve the remaining cake for topping.
  6. Gently fold the chopped cake pieces into the cream cheese mixture with a rubber spatula. Do not overmix; distinct cake bits should remain.
  7. Spoon the dip into a serving bowl and spread evenly with the back of a spoon. Create gentle swirls on top.
  8. Crumble the remaining tree cake over the top and sprinkle generously with red and green sprinkles.
  9. Chill in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes before serving for best texture (optional but recommended).

Notes

For best results, use full-fat cream cheese and let it come to room temperature. The dip can be made up to 2 days ahead; add sprinkles just before serving. If you can’t find Christmas tree cakes, substitute with any frosted vanilla snack cake.
