Flavorful Grilled Peaches with Honey and Cinnamon

grilled peaches recipe - featured image

A quick and easy summer treat featuring juicy peaches grilled to perfection with honey and cinnamon for a sweet, smoky flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ripe peaches, halved and pitted
  • 3 tablespoons honey (or maple syrup for vegan option)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional)
  • Pinch of sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (375–400°F). Clean the grates thoroughly with a grill brush and brush lightly with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  2. Halve and pit the peaches. In a mixing bowl, gently toss peach halves with honey, cinnamon, olive oil, sea salt, and lemon juice if using. Coat evenly but do not soak.
  3. Place peach halves cut-side down on the grill. Grill for 3-4 minutes until grill marks form and peaches soften slightly.
  4. Flip peaches carefully using tongs and grill skin side for another 3 minutes. Watch closely to avoid flare-ups and charring.
  5. Check for doneness: peaches should be tender but hold their shape with a golden-brown caramelized surface.
  6. Transfer grilled peaches to a serving plate. Optionally drizzle extra honey and sprinkle more cinnamon before serving. Serve warm.

Notes

Brush grill grates and peaches with olive oil to prevent sticking. Adjust cinnamon to taste. If grill is too hot, move peaches to cooler spot to avoid charring. Frozen peaches can be used if thawed and patted dry. Can be cooked indoors using a grill pan or cast iron skillet.
