A refreshing and festive non-alcoholic mocktail that combines spicy ginger beer, tart cranberry juice, and crisp sparkling water for a perfectly balanced drink. It’s quick to make, uses simple ingredients, and is ideal for holiday parties and gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces ginger beer, chilled
  • 6 ounces cranberry juice, chilled
  • 6 ounces sparkling water, chilled
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice (about 1 lime)
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh or frozen cranberries for garnish
  • Fresh rosemary sprig for garnish
  • Lime wheel for garnish

Instructions

  1. Chill your copper mug or glass in the freezer for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Roll the lime firmly on the counter for 10 seconds, cut in half crosswise, and squeeze 2 tablespoons of fresh lime juice into the bottom of the chilled glass.
  3. Pour 6 ounces of chilled cranberry juice into the glass over the lime juice and stir gently.
  4. Slowly pour 12 ounces of chilled ginger beer down the side of the glass to preserve carbonation.
  5. Add 6 ounces of chilled sparkling water, pouring slowly. Stir gently once or twice.
  6. Fill the glass to the brim with large ice cubes.
  7. Garnish with a handful of cranberries, a lime wheel on the rim, and a rosemary sprig (slap the rosemary between your palms first to release oils). Serve immediately.

Notes

For a big batch (serves 8-10): combine 4 cups cranberry juice, 8 cups ginger beer, and 1 cup fresh lime juice in a pitcher. Just before serving, add 4 cups sparkling water and stir gently. Fill with ice and garnish. Do not add sparkling water until ready to serve to keep it fizzy. For a lower-sugar option, use diet ginger beer and unsweetened cranberry juice.
